As a dietitian, I can say this is one of the simplest bread recipes for beginners. There's no need for kneading, and it's super low-effort. Just mix all the ingredients in a bowl and let it do its thing! You'll also find that this dough isn't as wet as typical focaccia dough, which makes it even more beginner-friendly.

This post is about how to make a beginner-friendly no-knead rosemary focaccia.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- Olive oil
- Extra flaky salt and rosemary
Method:
- Combine flour, yeast, salt, and water in a bowl until everything is well incorporated.
- Cover and let rise in the fridge overnight (at least 12-18 hours).
- Oil a baking dish well and transfer dough (which should have doubled in size), spreading gently to edges.
- Cover and let rise at room temperature for an additional 2-4 hours. The dough should now be plump and jiggly.
- Preheat oven to 210 degrees Celcius.
- Drizzle olive oil liberally over the top of your dough and dimple gently with your fingertips. Sprinkle with rosemary and flaky salt.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Top Tips For Making This Recipe
When measuring flour using cup measures, sieve the flour first into a large bowl. Then add the sieved flour to the cups. This will help with accurate measuring.
